Tofu, nuts and seeds are great replacements to make creamy things. They are so versatile and satisfying, it’s empowering to make your own!
Ingredients:
- 1 box silken tofu (or regular in a tub– anything works except extra firm)
or
- ½ C cashews soaked in hot water for 5 minutes
- 2 T lemon juice, or ½ tsp vinegar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sweetener like rice syrup, barley malt or maple syrup, (optional)
- Pinch of onion powder
- Pinch of salt or splash of soy sauce
Instructions:
Drain tofu or cashews. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
